PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS
In the process of laminated windshield glass production, the bent glasses come from bending furnaces on metallic racks. The glasses are separated into pairs (inner and outer glasses together).
Glass pairs on metallic racks will be brought to the loading position of the glass processing line where they will be loaded on conveyors.
Then the glasses will be unpaired on the conveyors and move to the bent washing machine: sheet by sheet (the Inner first and Outer following). All the glasses are oriented by wings downward (Concave down, face 4 on the belts of conveyors). After the washing machine, dry glasses move upon the conveyor to the cooling tunnel (where they will be cooled down till the temperature is needed for assembling with PVB sheets).
This Washing Machine for bent glass is used for automotive laminated glass, such as curved windshields and car top glasses.

This Bent Glass Washing Machine is composed mainly of
● Washing Sect.
Stainless steel sealed room with access door.
Sealed room should be designed a whole part, so that can control clean water better ( avoid spatter )
Machine frame itself and all components directly or indirectly touching with deminerzied water material are stainless steel ( No.304)
Both sides of sealed room equip with access doors, on the door install lock and the laminated glass observed window, easy to enter into sealed room for repairing, and during the working to observe the status of glass washing.
The design of sealed room has enough space, easy for people do the maintenance inside.
All doors install safety switch, without permission open the door would be power off then close the pump, feeding system and fan, playing a part of safety protecting.
On the top of sealed room installs 2floodlights, ensure through the glass observed window of the access door to have an eyeballing, so that for inside maintenance.
At the bottom of sealed room is designed as water tank, divide up the first way of rinsing flume, the second way of high pressure rinsing flume.
Each rising flumes is equipped with escape valve, which is firmly installed and covered by a footboard in the area of the doors.
The water in three flumes can flow from back to forth, when the flume water at the clean water rinsing sect overflow, can flow into high pressure rinsing flume through middle clapboard; when the flume water at the high pressure rinsing sect overflow, can flow into the flume at the pre-rinsing sect. when the water of pre-rinsing flume overflow, can flow outside of water tank through overflow hole.
The water in the tank cannot be flowed backwards, it means clean water flow to high pressure then flow to pre-rinsing, ensure the cleanness of water.
The water tank equips with pocket filter net for filter and collecting smash glass, easy to pull out to clean up.
At the glass entrance of washing sect installs plastic shade to prevent the water spatter.
Between washing sect and drying sect designs a waterproof coupling, having a tray of meeting water.
● Transfer System
Curved glass transmission adopts adjustable belt conveying
The configuration of feeding framework are all stainless steel , including bearing, cannot adopt stainless steel parts, should adopts other material that can prevent demineralized water and rust, such as rubber or nylon.
Two conveying motors respectively install at the exit and entrance of drying sect, not touching with water. It adopts Inverter to adjust the speed, can achieve stepless shift
The whole conveyor framework divides into two segments, cross folding to feeding (Overlapping type conveyor ) , it adopts with 3 belts.
At the entrance and exit of washing machine install sensor, it can inspect the input and output of glass.
● Pre-washing ( Hot water)
Pre-rinsing adopts spraying head to rinse, the spraying heads connect to small water pipe, then the pipes distribute equably on the main water pipe through pipe nip, the length of small water pipe is designed according to the glass shape, ensure the rinsing fully.
Pre-rinsing waterway includes water pipe up and down + shortness small water pipes + spraying nozzles + water pump + filter with pressure meter + flow meter with low flux alarm etc.
● High pressure washing ( Hot water)
High pressure washing adopts spraying head to washing, the spraying heads connect to small water pipe, then the pipes distribute equably on the main water pipe through pipe nip, the length of small water pipe is designed according to the glass shape, ensure the rinsing fully.
● DI water rinsing （With pipeline heater）
Clean water rinsing adopts spraying head to rinse, spraying head connect to the small water pipe, small water pipes distribute equably through pipe nip on the main water pipe, the length of small water pipe is designed according to the shape of glass, ensure the rinsing fully.
Clean water rinsing waterway includes up and down main water pipe + shortness small water pipe + spraying nozzles + water pump +filter with pressure meter + flow meters with low flux alarm.
● Drying Sect.

Sealed room should be designed as a whole, to get a good controlling of wind pressure
Machine framework itself and all parts material which directly or indirectly touch with demineralized water are SS304.
Both sides of sealed room equips with access doors , on the door installs lock and the laminated glass observed window, easy to enter into sealed room for maintenance, and in the working observe the glass drying status.
The design of sealed room should have enough space, it is convenience for people to maintenance and clean up smash glass inside.

On the top of sealed room installs 2 floodlight, to ensure having an eyeballing through the glass observed window of the door, so that for the inside maintenance.
● Adjustable air knife (manual and mechanical)
Equipped with 4 pairs of air knives.(Customized)
Each air knife can independently manual adjust the height.
Both sides of air knife can adjust angle at the same time, to ensure drying glass fully.
The angle adjustment of both sides of air knives is controlled by motor.
● Fan Blower Box
Fan box divides into two sections: filtrate chamber and fan chamber
Filtrate chamber equips with one door for checking and repairing, it can enter into filtrate chamber for checking and repairing
Filtrate chamber includes enter air gap with pre-filtrate net, pocket-typed filtrate net.
Fan chamber uses mainly for installing fan, and door for checking and repairing, can enter into fan chamber for checking and repairing.
Around the whole fan box installs sound insulation cotton, to prevent noise and satisfy the environmental request.
Outlet air of fan equips with air door, when start fan it will protect fan motor.
On the drying sect, it has small ladder and flat roof easy for maintain people enter in.

● The water tank is connected with the at least two sets of high-pressure spray pipes through a circulating water pump and a heater.
● The air-drying section includes corresponding air knife groups above and below the transmission device in the air-drying section, and each air knife in the air knife group is provided with a rotating lifting device.
● The lifting device can realize the rotation and lifting of the air knife, and it is convenient to adjust the air knife to a shape suitable for the air-dried glass, thereby ensuring stable air pressure and achieving a good air-drying effect.
● The transmission device is composed of transmission belts with different distances between the two ends to ensure that there are no dead corners at the bottom of the curved glass, and it can be cleaned and air-dried in an all-round way.
● Sensors are installed at the entrance and exit of the washing machine to detect the entry and output of the glass. When the glass does not enter or exit for a certain period of time, the pump will stop to save electricity.
